One of the advantages of disc golf is that it is a wholly uncomplicated form of recreation, as you can go out on the disc golf course with no prior knowledge of how the sport is played, and – as long as you possess a rudimentary understanding of the fundamentals of regular golf – you will be able to understand everything you are doing in disc golf. In fact, even if you do not know the first thing about traditional golf, it is quite easy to learn everything you need to know about disc golf in no more than a few minutes, and you will be able to go out and play disc golf for free – but before you can go out and play disc golf (even if you already understand how to play!), you will want to make sure you know the items you should bring with you.

When you are wanting to go disc golfing, the most obvious item for you to make sure you have on hand is a set of discs; a starter set of discs is not expensive at all, and as long as you have a driver, and mid-range disc, and a putter, you will be all set to get started.

Another thing that will be important is that you have some way to carry around all your discs; while most people use a disc golf bag for this, you could get more creative in the sort of bag you use – the main thing is simply that your day will become more complicated than it needs to be if you do not have a way to easily carry your discs.

And even though disc golf is not exactly taxing on the body, you will still be spending quite a bit of time walking around with the sun beating down on you, and for this reason, water is another one of the most important items for you to bring with you, and with this final item in hand, you will be all set for a blissful day of disc golf.
